One of the important things that brings more traffic to a certain blog is its loading time , a low blog that takes too much time to load usualy ends to be left by people and never come back to it again . Another important thing is that you won't be recieving a good traffic from Google and search engines because they won't like your blog and you'll be left on your own with less visitors .

CSS Codes   

 Most bloggers forget about Css codes  , and they keep adding codes and codes forgetting about their blog speed which for sure affects their blog performance . whenever you add some Css code to your template , your blog slows by seconds  so it's better to reduce the number of these codes as much as possible and keep just the necessary ones . Images        

Images are good for your posts and helps you and helps your readers , but most of bloggers don't pay attention to the images size they're using as they're supposed to do . Large images on your blog is the number one reason why it loads slowly . Edit the number of posts per page 

The number of post on the main page also affects your blog load time . Templates differ in how many posts are being shown in your blog homepage  , and some of them automotically show up to 13 posts , So try reducing this number in your blog settings , 5 to 7 posts is good . When you change your blog theme , make sure to edit this number again .

JavaScripts 

Thirdparty javascripts are the scripts who your template call when the your blog is being loaded , which are outside your blog on external hosts , and if these hosts are slow the server may take some time .
So if you have some thirdparty javascripts on your blog make sure you put them at th bottom of your blog , thus your blog will load faster .

Don't Use backgroung images

When first time I decided to launch a blog , I was very excited to write about my experience on some certain things and my knowledge , as everybody else who's just about to start blogging .

So either you're just blogging for blogging or you intend to make money from your blog , a successful blog is what you aim to . A successful blog is not easy to reach , and the ways differ from a blog to other and blogger to other , but make sure you'll never have a successful blog if there's no great content . It all depends on content , content and content . A great content is the key ingrediant for a successful blog .

As I already said , ways to have a successful blog depends on your blog and you as well , but here's a list of steps you generally need to follow in order to take your blog to the next levels . Let's go : 

     1 - what your blog is going to be about : It's the most important decision in order to start the right way . focus on things you know , and things your visitors like , and make sure all your posts are about a certain topic . For example if you're on a blog about Technology , you can't find "how to get a girlfriend " , if you did be sure you're in the wrong place . In the beginning you might have a broad subject , but as long as you gain more experience know what your visitors want , you'll become more focused . 

     2- Your blog name : Remember that people know your blog by its name , therfore this name has to be memorable , easy to spell and it's better to include a keyword of what's your going to blog about .  For example this blog is about how to make money online , and as you see it has those 2 keywords in it , so try to add some keywords on your blog name .

     3- get a good blog design : Your blog design and theme is one of the important keys to make it successful . The design is the first impression that people get when they first visit your blog ,before they read what's in there , the theme gives an image about your blog . A blog or website ?

Should I start a blog or a website ? a frequent question on the web , a lot of people may tell you you don't need a blog , all you need is a website  , other people tell you you can be successful more with a blog .. so what's the right saying then ? Actually you can be successful with either one , it all depends on you and your content and espacially how hard you work .

You may already know what a website is , but what's a blog , or blogging ? 
A blog is not very different from a website , it's often used as a timeline , you post posts about a certain topic and you add them to posts already posted , with that you slowly build more content .
and this content is organzied by time of each post which make it more like a diary .
Also a blog is written often by one person , where he develops and sort ideas and share them with people who are interessted by the same topic/topics written .

I have read somewhere on the web "A blog is this beast - a monkey on your back . It wants to be fed everyday , but we all have jobs and it's hard to do "  NOT really , I know a lot of successful and famous bloggers who post once a week , yes when you start you may have to be present often the time so that you can post and be active with your posts ( see people comments and reply them , recognise some mistakes and try to correct them next time ... ) but once you have reached ' a rich content ' you don't have to post every hour , you have already made an audience and if you kept posting every single hour people will be bored , so you must find a way to keep people anxious about your posts . 

So that was a general idea about what a blog is  , so as I have already said if you want to start either a blog or a website , it all depends on you and who you feel comfortable with , if you want to just put some static ideas or informations on the web then go with a website , and if you want to  share your ideas and write frequently then go with a blog .
